They met in high school, Nya's Junior year and Asa's sophomore year. Nya spotted Asa sitting alone in theater class and thought he was so handsome, and a little mysterious. Being herself, she walked right up and asked if she could sit with him and he said yes. Without realizing it, they had just begun the story of a lifetime.

That one moment grew quickly into a friendship, followed by an unexpected  FaceTime call from Nya to Asa. As you can see, she has always gone after what she wants! What was meant to be a simple call turned into hours of talking, laughing, and discovering just how much they had in common. They realized they were both, as they lovingly call themselves, "weirdos",  and somehow, they fit together perfectly. From that day forward, the FaceTime calls never stopped.

With every conversation, their bond grew deeper. They became each other's safe place, best friend, biggest supporter, and favorite person, They built a love rooted in laughter, comfort, and the freedom to be completely themselves. Somewhere between the late-night calls, endless conversations, inside jokes, and quiet moments, their friendship blossomed into something even more beautiful: a love that felt like home.

Through every season, every joy, every challenge, and every change, they have continued to choose one another, every single time. Their love has grown with them, becoming stronger, deeper, and more intentional with each passing year.

Now, they are ready to make the choice they have already made in their hearts countless times: to love, honor, and stand beside one another for the rest of their lives.
